Cancellation Policy & Refunds

To cancel a reservation, you must provide written or email communication to the confirming office. The cancellation will only take effect from the date the booking office confirms it.

For Mount Kilimanjaro Trekking:

– 30 days or more prior to departure: No cancellation fees will be charged.
– 20 to 14 days before departure: A cancellation fee of 10% of the total tour price will be applied.
– 0 to 13 days before departure: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total tour price will be applied.

For Safaris in Tanzania Or Kenya:

– 150 days and above before departure: No cancellation fees will be charged.
– 90 to 149 days before departure: A cancellation fee of 10% of the total tour price will be applied.
– 45 to 89 days before departure: A cancellation fee of 20% of the total tour price will be applied.
– 0 to 44 days before departure: A cancellation fee of 30% of the total tour price will be applied.

For Safaris in Uganda:

– 150 days and above before departure:
Cancellation fees will be equal to the cost for Gorilla and Chimp Permits.
– 90 to 149 days before departure: A cancellation fee of 10% of the total tour price plus the cost for Gorilla and Chimp Permits will be applied.
– 45 to 89 days before departure: A cancellation fee of 20% of the total tour price plus the cost for Gorilla and Chimp Permits will be applied.
– 0 to 44 days before departure: A cancellation fee of 30% of the total tour price plus the cost for Gorilla and Chimp Permits will be applied.

Please note that there are no refunds for Gorilla Permits or Chimp Permits in any case.

Partial Cancellations:
In case of partial cancellations, the per person price for the remaining clients will increase based on the change in group size and other factors.

Change of Dates:
You can choose to change the dates of your tour at any time. However, rescheduling will be subject to applicable cancellation charges and any new charges. The Company will inform you of any additional charges before completing the rescheduling process. If the booking is later cancelled, any refunds will be calculated based on the original tour date.

If we Cancel:

The Company reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to cancel any tour without prior notice if unavoidable. In such cases, the Company agrees to refund the client’s entire payment. The Company’s sole responsibility to the client is the refund, and no claim for damages, however arising, shall be made against the Company.
